Arriving at Huish Park following a spell at Scarborough, Colin brought experience, authority and an infectious passion for the game. His time in Somerset may have been short, but it was marked by significant progress and unforgettable moments.
Under his stewardship, the Glovers achieved a runners-up finish in the National Conference, driving the club forward during an exciting era of ambition and growth. One of the standout moments of his tenure came in the FA Cup, where Yeovil produced a memorable second-round victory away at Blackpool – a result still fondly remembered by supporters.
Colin’s achievements and leadership soon drew wider attention, and in 2001 he departed to take up the managerial role at Swansea City. Though his spell at Huish Park lasted for a short period, his impact was lasting. His professionalism, belief in his squad and commitment to pushing Yeovil Town towards greater heights earned him respect from players, staff and fans alike.
Colin Addison will forever hold a place in the story of Yeovil Town Football Club. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all who knew and admired him throughout his distinguished career.
Rest in peace, Colin. 💚
