James Daly is a versatile and hardworking forward who joined Yeovil Town in July 2025, bringing with him a wealth of experience across the Football League and National League. Born in Brighton, East Sussex, Daly began his career with Crystal Palace.
Daly progressed through the Crystal Palace academy and was named the club’s “Scholar of the Year” in 2018, before signing his first professional contract. He gained senior experience with a loan at Kingstonian and regularly featured for Palace’s under-23 side, showcasing his versatility by also playing in defence.
In January 2020, Daly made the step into the EFL with Bristol Rovers, where he scored his first professional goal in a win over Lincoln City. He later featured for Stevenage and Woking, impressing with his tireless work rate, ability to press defenders, and attacking threat. In 2023, Daly signed for Harrogate Town before spending part of the 2023/24 season on loan at Aldershot Town in the National League.
Now at Huish Park, Daly is eager to make a strong impact for Yeovil Town, offering flexibility across the front line and adding valuable Football League and National League experience to the squad for the 2025/26 season.
