Following a thorough and competitive application process, our inclusion was confirmed at the recent League Committee Management meeting.

This marks a significant milestone in the development of our footballing pathway and reflects the ongoing ambition of the club to provide elite opportunities for young players across Yeovil and the surrounding areas.

The National League U19 Alliance is the highest level of youth football outside the professional academy system and represents a major step up in competition for our scholars. Participation in this league will not only raise the standard of opposition but also enhance the overall experience and development of our young players, both on and off the pitch.

Jamie Phillip, Head of Youth Development at Yeovil Town, expressed his pride in the achievement:

“Being accepted into the National League U19 Alliance is a massive step forward for the club. It validates the hard work we’ve put in over the years to build a strong youth development structure. This league will give our players the exposure, experience, and competitive edge they need to progress in the game. It’s also a brilliant opportunity for the local area to see its young talent thrive on a national stage.”

Preparations are already underway ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, with recruitment and infrastructure plans being finalised to ensure our scholars are ready for the challenges ahead.

We would like to thank all those who supported our application and continue to back the development of young talent in the region. This achievement reflects our long-term commitment to nurturing the next generation of Yeovil Town players.

We will have plenty of fantastic opportunities for local and national businesses to support our U19s programme as we enter this new era. For all sponsorship and partnership enquiries, please contact: commercial@ytfc.net.

Further updates will follow in the coming months as we prepare to embark on this exciting new chapter.
