The 19-year-old arrives at Huish Park having captained Birmingham City’s Under-21 side, where he has earned a reputation as a committed, athletic defender with strong leadership qualities.

Byron impressed as a trialist in our recent 2-1 pre-season defeat to Bristol Rovers at Huish Park, showcasing his energy, composure, and willingness to get forward. Following that performance, the club acted quickly to secure his services for the upcoming campaign.

Pendleton will wear the number 2 shirt for the Glovers and is set to join up with the squad tomorrow ahead of this weekend’s pre-season trip to Bath City.

Manager Mark Cooper said:

“We’ve bided our time in order to find the right choice, and Byron is an exciting addition for us. He’s a young player with great potential, leadership qualities, and a hunger to succeed. He’ll fit in really well with what we’re building here.”

Everyone at Yeovil Town welcomes Byron to the club and looks forward to seeing him in green and white throughout the 2025/26 season.
