At the Helm – The Manager

Taking charge at Brunton Park is none other than Mark Hughes – a name synonymous with top-level football. The former Manchester United and Chelsea forward brings with him a wealth of Premier League and international experience, both as a player and as a manager.

With previous managerial spells at clubs such as Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City, and Stoke City, Hughes has stepped into the Carlisle role with a clear ambition to bring structure, professionalism, and attacking quality to the Cumbrians. Despite being unable to prevent Carlisle’s relegation last term, Hughes will be using every ounce of that experience to lead the Cumbrians in their push for an immediate return to the Football League.
