Oldham Athletic triumphed in the play-off final and will join Barnet in League Two next season. Congratulations to both sides on earning promotion to the EFL.

At the other end of the table, we say goodbye to Ebbsfleet United, AFC Fylde, Maidenhead United, and Dagenham & Redbridge, who have all been relegated out of the division.

📉 Relegated from League Two:

  • Carlisle United
  • Morecambe

The two northwest clubs drop down from League Two and will now be part of the National League for the 2025/26 campaign.

📈 Promoted from National League North & South:

  • Brackley Town (National League North champions)
  • Scunthorpe United (National League North play-off winners)
  • Truro City (National League South champions)
  • Boreham Wood (National League South play-off winners)

These four clubs step up into the fifth tier and will be aiming to make their mark in what promises to be another fiercely competitive season.

🚍 The Long and Short Trips for the Glovers

For Yeovil Town, the new season brings a familiar blend of long hauls and regional rivalries.

The long journeys continue, with Gateshead, Hartlepool United, York City, Carlisle United, and Morecambe all remaining or joining the division. The northwest is well represented on the travel map this season.

Closer to home, the Glovers can look forward to somewhat shorter trips to Eastleigh, Forest Green Rovers, Aldershot Town, Truro City, and Woking.

Guides to the new opposition for the 2025/26 season will be posted over the coming weeks as we take a deeper look at the teams the Glovers will face.
