No stranger to the Glovers, Ferguson spent a brief period on loan at the club from Rochdale towards the end of the 2024/25 campaign, making four appearances and leaving a positive impression with his composed defending and physical presence.

The 24-year-old centre-back, son of former Rangers and Scotland international Barry Ferguson, brings valuable experience from spells across the UK and Ireland, including stints with Harrogate Town, Altrincham, and Waterford FC.

Now joining Yeovil on a permanent basis, Ferguson adds strength and depth to Mark Cooper’s defensive options as the club continues preparations for the season ahead.

Manager Mark Cooper said:

“Kyle settled in really well during his loan spell and showed us exactly what he’s about. He’s strong, intelligent on the ball, and a great character to have around the group. We’re pleased to have him back on board permanently.”

Everyone at Yeovil Town welcomes Kyle back to Huish Park and looks forward to seeing him in green and white once again.
