Since arriving at the club, Whittle has been a dependable and consistent performer in Mark Cooper’s side, offering defensive solidity and attacking drive from the left flank. His experience, professionalism, and versatility have made him a key figure both on and off the pitch.
Whittle’s new deal sees him remain part of the Glovers’ plans for the 2025/26 season as the club looks to build on last season’s progress.
Speaking on the extension, manager Mark Cooper said:
“Alex has been excellent for us. He’s a reliable, hard-working player who sets the standard every day in training and on matchdays. I’m really pleased he’s staying with us – he’s an important part of the group.”
Everyone at Yeovil Town is delighted to see Alex commit his future to the club and looks forward to another strong campaign with him in green and white.
